The Daily Green compiled a rather comprehensive list of toys made in the USA that are lead free. Check it out.
To compile this list, The Daily Green started with “Made-in-the-USA” toy lists from specialty toy Web sites and toy stores. If “Made-in-the-USA” was not clearly articulated on each recommended manufacturer’s Web site, we contacted the company directly. The list relies on the information provided by individual toy companies, their distributors and public relations representatives.
Not Made in China List of Products
We recently added a comprehensive list of Not Made in China (NMIC) products on our site the Power of Peace. Hopefully this list will prove to be helpful to you and other concerned consumers – you can see the full list at http://www.powerofpeace.com/notmadeinchinaproducts. We developed and validated the list through a rigorous process of research and direct contact with manufacturers and suppliers.
This is part of a larger NMIC initiative which includes us lobbying congress to demand that Countries of Origin be included with all products being sold on the internet – we hope you will join our cause.
