Not Made in China List of Products

We recently added a comprehensive list of Not Made in China (NMIC) products on our site the Power of Peace. Hopefully this list will prove to be helpful to you and other concerned consumers - you can see the full list at www.powerofpeace.com/notmadeinchinaproducts. We developed and validated the list through a rigorous process of research and direct contact with manufacturers and suppliers.

This is part of a larger NMIC initiative which includes us lobbying congress to demand that Countries of Origin be included with all products being sold on the internet - we hope you will join our cause.

Feedback would be great and let us know if we have missed anything in our list as we continue to build it.

I can't believe the lack of manufacturer attention to this, especially from those that don't make goods in China. If my stuff was made elsewhere I'd post that fact all over my web site and advertising. If I was a retailer, I'd have signs pointing out every toy not made in china as well. Of course, those toys would fly off the shelves.

It's hard to find sites that help you find non-chinese toys, and a lot of the sites that do focus mainly on wooden toys. I found a couple sites that help find mainstream toys that my kids actually ask for. I've found a lot at www.toys-without-china.com and FAO Shwartz. FAO has a country search, but who can afford $300 for a stuffed bear?

Vision Forum doesn't carry Chinese toys because of ethical issues rather than just the safety issues. FABULOUS place to Christmas shop for boys and girls. They also have a good alternative to Mattel's American Girl dolls.

Thank you for your campaign to buy American Toys. The Chinese manufacturing war machine is literally driving American manufacturers like us out of business. Please feel free to add our link, to your website. Our games are made here in the U.S and are both educational and fun to play.

As a small and aspiring family owned and operated boardgame manufacturing company, we need all the help and support we can get (as do all the other American companies) to make it to the next level.

As always, we are open to new ideas and suggestions to improve both our products and marketing strategies.

Once again thanks for your support.
